Cognitive engineering and user-centered approaches to requirements specification are complemented by human-computer interaction, visualization and cognitive ergonomics techniques to achieve design solutions. Solutions are then evaluated using human factors methods such as experiments and human performance modeling to assess feasibility in a system environment.
