The specialized areas of research are as follows: The Faculty of Justice – The Faculty of Law is the first faculty to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the judiciary to focus on the study of the judicial system and work together towards the creation of Inns of Court, as proposed by the Chief Justice. This is an advanced course and is offered to students who have completed and successfully completed SKVA2562. The aim of the course is to improve their knowledge and understanding of basic Arabic grammar. Students also learn the classifications of nouns, particles, and verbs, i.e. ficilmudhari` and fi`il al-amr, and how they are used in sentences. Students learn to read and understand texts of different genres and oral practices through dialogue. Students are introduced to certain terminologies of Islamic legislation.

Audio CDs and relevant websites are used to enhance the teaching and learning process.
