Does anyone know of any legal stamps suitable for fountain pens (a4) currently produced? I know Rhodia Yellow Lines, but it is generally not available online. If so, I either have to buy in bulk ($50) for a good price, or the cost + shipping makes it expensive for a tampon. This is not a traditional legal block, i.e. stapled at the top, but Black n Red notebooks, which can be bound laterally in a spiral, have fantastic paper that can even support dip pens, which are much more difficult to handle. In the United States, they are available at Staples and a number of other locations. Walmart even sold them once. Levenger may have already made right-wing blocs favorable to the FP, but this is no longer the case. I, too, had read that they were good, so I bought twenty. And they suck. The paper is very soft and beautiful, but is certainly only suitable for ballpoint pen and pencil users.

A yellow block would be perfect, but I also agree with the White Paper. Thank you! But `legal stamps` can be letter-sized, legal or otherwise, always with a regulated left margin of 1 1/4.” ezop.com/ez-office-resources-guides/how-to-choose-a-legal-pad/ I use legal notepads for work, but they bleed and the ink on the pen is worse than almost all the papers I`ve used. Do you have any recommendations for legal tampons that handle fountain pens? For reference, my favorite paper is Rhodia and Clairefontaine, so ideally something with that kind of paper quality/feel. Rhodia is great. The Staples Signa Legal Pads are very good. Gold fiber is not. I live in Texas where we have a grocery chain called H-E-B (it`s the best place ever). At the beginning of the school year, they stocked up on a whole range of school supplies (they usually only have a small selection of school/office supplies), including a large selection of notebooks and three packs of legal blocks. I don`t know where they got their notebooks from (they were all marked), but they were all FP compatible. I only bought a bunch of legal notebooks, and I wish I had bought more.

I guess I`ll have to wait until next year. While perhaps on the expensive side of the legal padom, Write Notebooks makes a notepad that has excellent fountain pen friendly paper, it`s $9 a pad for a pack of two, with 100 sheets per block. The paper is 70# and not ridiculously smooth, like Clairefontaine, a beautiful medium that absorbs ink and shows a real line of the pen. From my Googles. I read that many legal notepads, i.e. gold fiber, were once compatible with fountain pens. However, the document has changed. There seems to be a trend that many right-wing blocs of the FPF are not like this today. Could try this [FPN thread] (www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/354337-good-legal-pads-that-are-fountain-pen-friendly/) from last year I had a decent chance with the Blackwing Illegal Pad, admittedly, it was designed to be used with their pencils and is a bit pricey for only two pads, but it seems to work well with my pens. I use very fine tips and tend to prefer drier inks, so your mileage may vary. Can confirm that gold fiber is no longer a good option in my experience. I also had no luck with TOPS.

I believe Levenger makes a respected legal stamp, but they are expensive. I finally found a solution in a brand called Mintra – inexpensive, and the “premium” pads are quite FP-friendly for my needs, but not as beautiful as Rhodia. Staples` M is another decent option, and I`ve heard good things about sugarcane, but haven`t tried it myself. Great recommendations from other people to buy better legal towels, but if you want to use towels provided by work, you can always try drying your inks by adding distilled water before refilling your pen. YMMV, but it might be worth a try. What inks do you use at work? I don`t want to be too strict, but can I assume that the question refers to “writing stamps” rather – top-stapled stamps with perforated sheets? I`m guilty of calling something like this, which refers to the size of the American letter or the A4 format (both are similar) as “legal pads”, but at least in the US, a “legal pad” is technically 8 1/2″ x11 3/4″. School Smart`s junior avocado blocks are a must-have note. Each of these pads contains 50 sheets (5 x 8 inches) of 16 lb sulfite white bonding paper that absorbs the pen or ink well. The sheets are perforated and stapled at the top with a logo printed on the header.

The sides flew 3/8 inch on both sides with red edges. Perfect for replenishment at home, school or office. I am here to implement the recommendation of Mintra Legal Pads. I received a pack of 6, because the cheap Staples notebooks provided by my office were not at all compatible with FP (blood circulation, ink spread even with dry pens, scratching feeling). I see that “legal size” is everywhere. I am looking for 8 1/2 “x 14” paper compatible with fountain pens. So far without success. Does anyone know if there are any yet? I have some very old stuff that is at least reasonable as opposed to the horrible legal stamps that seem to be widespread, but it`s a few decades old and I`m going to use it in the next few months because I won`t be using it sparingly anymore as if it`s bigger than it used to be.
